The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Myanmar Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Myanmar Companies Law, and relevant tax regulations. This role involves managing the accounting team, preparing accurate financial reports, implementing internal controls, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager serves as a key liaison between the company, auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.

  • Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com preferred).
  • CPA (Myanmar) or other professional qualifications (ACCA, CA, CPA Australia) preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, Myanmar tax laws, and Companies Law.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills in both Myanmar and English.
